Wow!

Finally we have a place near Delhi where all of us can go and Do some Rock climbing! Zorbing! Rappelling! Paramotoring ! Et Cetera.

the list is endless.

On 7th November, 2008, when Raghu( MTV Roadies) came with Ranvijay( MTV VJ), Debby, Albun, Bummpy and Abhishek (The man behind Camera). I thought this dream of our will remain just a dream. They had also visited us 2 months back and short listed our camp site for the MTV ROADIES shoot; people thought that was BIG; but we had already worked with the MTV ROADIES team so the excitement had already gone. When they came on 7th to see if all the arrangements they had asked us to do were up to the mark or not. THEY WERE NOT. I was so scared about our in efficiency. I was scared of Debby. For the first time Rocksport had to stand as convict.

Things became better by 9th morning(final day of the shoot). We had done make shift arrangements for our in efficient work. The shoot was completed, with all the problems; (Akshay Kumar not coming at the last movement, An LED screen needed to be at Camp Tikkling (without electricity and an all most no-mans land and someone forgot speakers.) All of that just ended with a good note. Smiling faces. Rocksport is know for that. None of our clients have never returned dissatisfied.

Everyone is not talking about the shoot. We were all scared of not starting the Blame Game. We were about to call off Camp Tikkling. First time in the history of ROCKSPORT; Rocksport would back out with it's decision to start a CAMP SITE near Delhi.

14th October, 2009. Petzl Awareness Program at CAMP TIKKLING. We had returned. This time with more confidence, more strength, more determination. We were back. Around 30 people, all from adventure background were at our camp site. Reena Kaushal, people from Flying Fox, people from Petzl; everyone. All of them amazed at the place. It's was just the right time to move outdoors around Delhi. The green grass, green rocky arravlies, the tents.

Camp Tikkling now stands tall, completing more than 4000 students and 450 adults.

8th June, 2010. Preparations for Camp Tikkling are on speed. New website, print material, packages. We are planning some new exiting activities this year. Paramotoring , Hot air ballooning, Paint Ball, treasure hunts et cetera are some of them. Wanna be there??? Call +91 9811 398 050

Camp Anubhav at Corbett

It was early morning, i got up at 0400hrs. Unlike the normal day, it was a little to early, but we were going to see some new camp sites for Camp Anubhav at Corbett. Corbett we chose for specific reason. As we always say Camp Anubhav will teach people to survive in jungle with the minimal resources; navigate without compass; to teach people to be happy with no shelter above them and yet survive and cook food....The idea is simple. Never Say No. So corbett was yet another place to host Camp Anubhav. It's got untouched jungle. Its got wildlife......And its got stuff which cannot be written in words.

Camp Anubhav has always been a dream project for all the ROCKSPORTER and that's the reason we chose each destination/ campsite very carefully.

So coming back to the point; Corbett. We started by 0600hrs. Stopped for breakfast at Tadka(Gajraulla). Hogged on to omletts, which were awesome. And continued. We reached corbett by 1300hrs. Its was dence hot in there. Very Humid. Never go to corbett in July/August. The weather is bad. And thats the problem with being in the advance party. You end up being at place at the wrong time. I remember two years back we went to see this place in Mashobra; shimla hills. Where we conducted Camp Anubhav'08. It was March. We were basking in sun and were offered lunch. In hills at almost 7650ft.high and having hot lunch was fun. Then came the Chai(TEA). and suddenly the clouds came in, the sun dissappeared and I and KHAN started shivering.

This place in corbett we went to see was amazing. each chair had been built with a concept and personalization. Every plant they have grown was just perfect to be there; where it was. Amazing place in all. I am sure if we do any of Camp Anubhav program there, its going to be an amazing experience for all you.

Camp Anubhav in Corbett will be a little different from all the previous camps. Though its not been decided yet, Notting yet finalised. But we understand our responsibilities very well.It might be a little more crazier then whats already been happening.

I feels so good to be back... back... backkkk
I am touching my laptop after 2 months, and it is so cool.
Camp Anubhav was the agenda.
Camp Anubhav is the wilderness education division of Great Rocksport Private Limited. Camp Anubhav is like a breath of fresh air in kid’s lives, away from the humdrum of city life and routine schedules. Kids here experience a freedom in the lap of nature. They learn acts of survival, the importance of teamwork and the beauty of outdoors. A combination of adventure activities keeps them hooked throughout. Adventure here is positive. It includes anticipation, energy and exploring the unknown. The learning-by-doing approach is beyond books. Here, kids acquire new learning and new strengths in the wilderness.

The above written experience is of just one of the participant & soon i will come up with many other experiences.
But in whole process; The ideology of "ROCKSPORTER" has become stronger and stronger. Over 700 people have joined in and call themselves as Rocksporter.
I would want to thank Manoj Sahani, for serving us with such delecious food. We relished the awesome food served to us.
